I’ve listed some popular options in the dropdown menu, but every footprint is made to order, so I can make one in any size to suit your tent and setup.
All the ones listed are for the FULL coverage of your tent and all vestibule(s).
Pricing-
Footprints start from £40 for small vestibule coverage. Final cost depends on materials, design complexity, and build time.
What’s included-
All listed prices refer to a full footprint (inner + all vestibules).
Each order includes a storage bag unless you request otherwise.
Tie outs & fittings-
Each corner has a webbing tie-out with a shock-cord loop. I supply either a toggle or a clip for those loops so you can attach the footprint to the outer for easy all-in-one pitching and taking down. If you’re not sure which you prefer, I’m very happy to include both at no extra cost— so you can then choose once it arrives.
• Plastic toggles and clips are included as standard.
• Metal mitten clips are available for an additional £3 per footprint. They’re more robust, but slightly heavier (2g each vs 0.8g for plastic)
Lead time-
All footprints are custom made on order, I don’t carry stock. Therefore I aim for posting within 5-10 working days from order.

Shock cord colours-
Available in: black, red, orange, yellow, blue, neon green, deep pink, khaki or purple.

Includes: repair patches, spare material, shock cord, plastic and metal fittings, paracord, and webbing strap.

Tent Footprints
I use 70 denier PU coated woven nylon which is waterproof and used by many manufacturers as tent floor material. 65 grams per square metre. 10k HH
All seams are flat folded.
For the hems I use Gutermann Tera 60 thread which is exceptionally strong.
For joining seams I use an expanding thread that swells when damp, this seals the needle holes and reduces risk of any water seepage. This is also why I do not tape or seal joins.

QuintCraft was the obvious choice for a footprint for my Scarp 1. Lucy was responsive to my messages and once I had chosen my options, the footprint arrived quickly.
I knew these were a good product, but I was pretty bowled over by the quality and attention to detail. A perfect fit for the tent, the seams are lovely with no exposed edges. Even the bag was beautifully made. At 233g, it is pretty light for such a large area. It also feels like the groundsheet of the inner doesn't move as much.
Recently purchased the Durston X Mid 1 Solid and wanted a groundsheet to cover the inner floor. Spent a few hours online looking for one suitable to cover the inner floor and both vestibules with much success. A Facebook group member recommended Lucy from Quintcraft and I was able to contact her via email with a few questions. Lucy replied swiftly with answers and I placed my order. The groundsheet arrived within a week and I'm very impressed with the quality and service provided by Lucy.
I bought this footprint in August 2024 for my Durston X-mid 1 solid and it makes a big difference. It reduces condensation from the ground inside the vestibules areas and gives me more clean space to store my kit. I also feel a lot more confident pitching it on rough ground as the footprint provides an extra level of robustness to the inner tent floor.
I've ordered a new Durston X-mid 2 and at the same time I have just ordered a new footprint from Lucy - it's a no brainer really!!
Ordered a full footprint for my Durston X-Mid 2 solid. It is well made with quality stitching. It fits perfectly, gives me dry vestibules for storage (and reduced condensation), and provides the peace of mind of extra durability on rough ground for a couple of hundred grams weight penalty.
